Two Amazing Choreographers

I’m happy to announce two amazing choreographers joining us for Watch Me Dance!

Georgette Sofazis

Georgette Sofazis is an Honours Graduate from the Alvin Ailey American Dance School based in New York City, majoring in The Horton Dance Technique and Dance Performance. 

In NYC Georgette worked with and performed for many well-renowned American choreographers and performed Mr Ailey’s noted work ‘Memoria’ with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre whilst touring with The Alvin Ailey Junior Company, NYC. 

Miss Sofatzis continued her journey to the UK and danced with Scottish Dance Theatre, Russell Maliphant Company and Exzeb Dance Company.

Georgette is currently a Sydney Dance Company Studios Teacher, an Australian freelance Choreographer and a Pilates Movement Therapist. She delivers workshops and masterclasses at minor and major dance academies all over NSW. 

Georgette returned to Australia with the determination and desire to share her overseas encounters from NYC and the UK with the Australian Dance Community by developing Georgette2Dance in 2018 specialising in Contemporary Dance, The Horton Dance Technique (from NYC) and Pilates for Dancers.  For more information, go to

CJ Slattery

CJ Slattery is a Performer/Teacher/Choreographer who is a focused and driven individual that will provide you with a service that is new, exciting and on trend. He brings a passion and energy like no other which is why CJ is becoming one of Australia’s newest and up and coming choreographer. CJ’s credits include working with Royal Caribbean on their prestigious cruise ships as a Dancer Vocalist Aerialist, Choreographing for and performing along side Paulini Curuenavuli, NIKE, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, ZHIVAGO, X-Factor, Choreographing and staring along-side The Thundamentals, Australian Olympic Team Dinner and The NRL’S State of Origin’s. CJ has worked under the direction of various renowned choreographers/mentors including The Wilson Brothers from the United States, Kevin and Marcel, Marko Panic, The Squared Division, Leah Howard, Jacqui Howard, Kaylie Yee, Jason Coleman, Yvette Lee to name just a few.
